Sam is the Managing Partner of Kairoi providing executive leadership and direction over the entire corporate platform. He is a co-founder of the acquisitions and development partnerships in 2003 and 2006 respectively, as well as a founding partner of Kairoi. Sam has achieved national recognition in the areas of multifamily management, investment, and development. His role requires regular interaction with lenders, institutional joint venture partners, engineers, architects, property-level vendors, and all other related parties that support and maintain each asset. He oversees the offices located in San Antonio and Denver. Sam is a former CPA and Big Four audit manager. During his more than 18 years of real estate experience, Sam has invested in, developed, and disposed of more than $9.8 billion of real estate.
Sam is actively involved in several industry and civic organizations. He currently serves as the co-chair of the ULI Multifamily Product Council in Denver. He has also been a long-time member and supporter of National Multifamily Housing Council. Sam currently serves as the Kairoi executive representative on the Apartment Association of Metro Denver Alliance, which advocates for legislation, political candidates, and causes that benefit the multifamily industry.
Sam, his wife, and his children are also passionate about several charitable causes with a specific focus on supporting organizations that support children with developmental delays, early intervention education, and also teens in crisis. The Kasparek family has been long-time supporters of Brighton Center (San Antonio), Denver Street School, and its sister school, Hope Academy (Denver), as well as other schools and organizations supporting children in need. Additionally, the Kaspareks support organizations locally and internationally that provide food and safe drinking water to families in need, such as Food Bank of the Rockies, CambodiaCleanWater.org, and other similar organizations and causes.
Sam graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double concentration in Accounting and Finance, as well as a minor in Economics. In his spare time, Sam likes to coach his sons’ youth flag football, soccer, and baseball teams, golf, fly-fish, hunt, ski, and travel with his family.
